HEAVY WALL STREAM DRUMS & BOILER
Hooper Welding is a recognized leader in design & manufacturing of Steam Drums & Boilers. We have capabilities for heavy wall shell plate rolling and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of long seam & circ. seam which is an important requirement for any steam drum & boiler.
Hooper Welding can perform SAW welding of large sized and multiple nozzle to shell joints which improves quality and reduce cycle time compared to conventional manual welding.

1) 2005 to 2010: Hooper welding Oakville plant successfully completed multiple heavy wall steam drums for petrochemical refinery plant (Customer: Nooter Eriksen)

e. Job# C443 (2 units): 4.96” Thk CS x 74” ID x 408” L x 229,370 Lbs having 38 nozzles 2-18” size
2) August 2014: Hooper welding Oakville plant successfully completed critical Boiler Drum for refinery (Chicago Tube & Iron, USA).
